Located in Dikili, above the Avara neighborhood, the area is home to an impressive tomb complex reflecting the ancient burial traditions of the Western Black Sea.
The complex was created by carving the bedrock and meticulously laying slate stones and contains a total of seven burial chambers. At the front of the tombs is a square front chamber, which is covered with huge stone blocks and a dense earth fill.

However, although the area is a registered protected area, the ancient road of about 250 meters from the east side of this tomb complex towards the North West and the historical wall, which has survived to the present day, and which has survived to a large extent on its right side, were destroyed in 2023 by opening the road with a construction machine. We hope that the necessary protection will be ensured and physical works will be initiated as soon as possible before further losses occur in the region.
