This valuable scientist, who shaped Anatolian madrasas together with the famous astronomer Ali Kuşçu, trained students in the İsmail Bey Complex, which still preserves its elegance today.
Ayvat Village Şirvan Neighborhood, located southeast of Evrenye village in İnebolu, today bears important traces of this journey of knowledge. In this quiet neighborhood surrounded by greenery, there is a modest tomb attributed to Fethullah Şirvani. Although it is not known for certain whether he slept here or not, it is certain that the great scholar Fethullah Şirvani's path somehow passed through these lands and established a connection with this region.
The fact that the region has been known as “Şirvan” for centuries and that the local people protect this heritage is the greatest proof of this ancient connection.
